Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra offered S Pen support for the first time in the mainline Galaxy S series, but the phone doesn’t actually have an S Pen slot like the Galaxy Note line. However, a purported Galaxy S22 Ultra render posted by veteran leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer indeed shows a device with this feature.

In other words, those disappointed by the lack of a Galaxy Note phone in 2021 might have something to look forward to next year. But should the upcoming phone still be called the Galaxy S22 Ultra or does the S Pen slot warrant a different name altogether?
