Xiaomi enjoyed a pretty good year in 2021, releasing its first non-China-exclusive premium flagship, offering some stellar budget phones in the Redmi Note 10 series, and launching its first foldable phone. It all came together to give the company a wave of momentum that it almost certainly hadn’t seen before.

Xiaomi was even duking it out with the likes of Apple and Samsung in the first half of the year, briefly sitting atop the throne, according to several tracking firms. That is, until the chip shortage affected production in the second half.

Titans follows Dick Grayson, known to most as Robin, and his team of crime-fighting superheroes the Titans, loosely based on DC Comics’ Teen Titans. Having previously disbanded, the Titans are making another go of the team life in this live-action superhero series originally produced for the now-defunct DC Universe streaming service.

• In some actual news, LastPass users received some scary emails this week. The emails told users that they had multiple failed login attempts. However, LastPass didn’t detect any breaches. The company is continuing to monitor the situation, but for now, it looks like a false alarm right now. If anything else happens, we’ll let you know.

The company extended its reach well beyond its original ambition of becoming the de-facto option for enthusiasts, introducing several entry-level and mid-range models for the mass market. And, from budget-minded smartphones to OnePlus fitness bands and even a smartwatch, we finally started seeing the beginnings of a larger ecosystem at play.

Today’s flagship smartphones are absolutely jam-packed with camera features. From staples like HDR, night mode, and portrait mode to astrophotography, Single Take, Magic Eraser, and Clone mode, there really are no shortage of modes to choose from if you want to get creative (or just want a better shot).

In saying so, there’s one feature I’d really like Android manufacturers to embrace in 2022, and that’s simultaneous photo capture.
