It turns out Amazon really is bringing phone service to Amazon Prime users, just not in the way anyone assumed. Today Dish Network announced its partnership with Amazon to bring the postpaid carrier Boost Infinite to Prime users.

Boost Infinite Unlimited will be available to Amazon Prime subscribers for just $25 a month, the same price as anyone else would pay if they signed up directly. So why would you sign up for it through Prime instead? Boost hopes the incentives will be enough to draw you in, as you’ll get $5 off the $25 SIM kit, and you’ll also get $25 off your first bill. That’s a total savings of $30.

OPPO’s phones will no longer be available for purchase in the region. Reports suggested that OPPO’s exit from France, and potentially the EU, could be linked to a patent dispute with Nokia in Germany. But as the report reveals, OPPO recently won its court battle.

During the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled the long-awaited Galaxy Z Flip 5. Earlier today, we learned that the foldable won’t support Google Wallet on the cover display. Now a report claims the phone could be missing a feature.

According to the folks over at SamMobile, the Flip 5 may come without Samsung DeX support when it ships. The outlet claims that it couldn’t find the feature during its hands-on time, and its sources assert that it’s not because the Flip 5 units are running non-final firmware.

When it comes to mapping and navigation, Google Maps and Apple Maps sit pretty on top of the rest of the industry. But their position on top of the hill could be in jeopardy soon, or at least that’s what Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and TomTom are hoping for.

Last year, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and the mapping company TomTom joined forces to create an organization called the Overture Maps Foundation. The group aims to make interoperable map products third-party developers can use to create their own global mapping and navigation products. It plans on accomplishing this feat by open-sourcing its project.
