It seems new movie trailers and TV teasers for streaming services are taking an extended Halloween break this week. This could be the calm before the Thanksgiving storm, but the inventory is surely low for our roundup today. That said, we’ve still managed to dig up some cool new trailers for upcoming streaming titles. We expect many more will land just before the Thanksgiving holiday. Until then, here’s what’s in store for this week.

Lego Star Wars Holiday Special
The most exciting new movie trailer we got this week is for the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special headed to Disney Plus on November 17. The story revolves around Life Day celebrations (The Galaxy’s version of Christmas), as Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose, and the droids get together for a holiday feast. The film will also see Rey and BB-8 hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved cinematic moments from Star Wars history.
Bridgerton
This new Netflix period drama comes straight from Shondaland (Shonda Rhimes) and creator Chris Van Dusen. The new trailer will give you full Gossip Girl feels. However, it’s set in Regency London, not modern-day New York. It shows a scandal sheet being passed around in 19th century London’s high-society. The mysterious author is one Lady Whistledown who is hell-bent on casting aspersions on people anonymously.
The Witcher: Geralt’s Monster Mash
No, this is not a new trailer for season 2 of The Witcher. It’s a Halloween trailer for the series that presents some new monsters we’ll likely see in future episodes. Most of the trailer features clips from the first season, including glimpses of monsters like the Kikimora, Hirrika, Ghouls, Striga, and more. However, if you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll see two brand new scenes at 15 and 30 seconds into the trailer. The description of the video also teases this new footage. Is Netflix getting ready to give us a full-fledged season 2 trailer for The Witcher? We’ll just have to hold our collective breaths and wait.
My Psychedelic Love Story
Errol Morris’ upcoming Showtime documentary is all about Timothy Leary, the High Priest of LSD. The new movie trailer and the film itself are told through the lens of Joanna Harcourt-Smith, Leary’s lover. She describes how she met the Harvard psychologist infamous for his consumption of LSD along with his subjects. At one point, Leary was the biggest advocate of psychedelic drugs until he became an FBI informant.
Porno
Have you heard of Shudder? The streaming service dedicated to the horror genre? If not, you can read all about it here. Porno is a new Shudder original that tells the story of a group of bored movie theatre employees tempted by a forbidden film and terrorized by a sex demon.
